Limato Liked By Punters

This year’s July Cup is wide open and currently Limato, Magical Memory and Twilight Son share favouritism with William Hill at 11-2. Quiet Reflection has drifted out to 13-2 from 11-2, with the sunny weather conditions perhaps not in the filly’s favour.

“It’s a wide open July Cup and we’ve taken a spread of money across the race, but with the ground drying out, punters are starting to prefer Limato,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Meanwhile, in the Bunbury Cup, Buckstay is a solid favourite at 6-1. Tawdeea is the best-backed horse in the John Smith’s Cup and is 8-1 joint-favourite with Arthenus.
