Leicester City 1/6 For The Premier League Title

Leicester moved eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table following their victory against Swansea and they are now just 1/6 to win the title having been 4/7 following their dropped points last weekend.

“The largest individual bet we have ever paid out on was 2500/1 to a grandfather who backed his 18 month old grandson, Harry Wilson, to play international football for Wales and Leicester at 5000/1 at the start of the season was considered twice as unlikely as that,” said William hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “Make no mistake, this will be the single biggest upset in the history of sports betting.”

Had you placed a £1 bet at the start of the season on Leicester winning the title, your wager would be available for cash out now at £3,900.15 a figure that was £802 smaller as the game kicked off.

“Leicester’s cash out value for a 5000/1 wager has leapt by almost £1,000 following the comprehensive nature of their victory,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “There will no doubt be a few punters who will be kicking themselves for cashing out earlier in the week as Spurs closed the gap because Leicester are once again red hot favourites.”

In the FA Cup Manchester United are the 1/3 favourites to lift the trophy with Crystal Palace 23/10 following their victory over Watford.
