Kane And Rooney To Lead The Line During Euros? Would Rashford Be Rash Choice?

Despite Wayne Rooney’s continued absence through injury from the Manchester United side, William Hill make the Three Lions’ captain 2/7 to start England’s first game of the European Championship in the summer. Harry Kane is 1/10 to start following his brace at the weekend while Leicester City’s talisman, Jamie Vardy, is 7/4.

“England is currently enjoying a rich supply of attacking options that hasn’t been available since the mid-90s and it really is a tricky task trying to predict who will be lining up against Russia come June,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Manchester United starlet, Marcus Rashford is 16/1 to start England’s first game of the Euros and 11/4 to make the final 23 man squad for France.
