Ivan The Terrible! Gorbatov Turned Over

Ivanovich Gorbatov remains favourite for the Triumph Hurdle but has been pushed out to 5-1 from 5-2 by William Hill, after being brushed aside at Leopardstown as Footpad won the GAIN Spring Juvenile Hurdle.

Footpad is now 10-1 from 20-1 for the Cheltenham contest with William Hill.

“That is a real coupon buster for punters and it has completely opened up the Triumph Hurdle market,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “Ivanovich Gorbatov is easily the best-backed horse for the Triumph Hurdle, but we may well see a better spread of money in the race now.”
