Hughes Cut On Monday To Be First Manager To Go…Dele Alli 5/1 To Leave Spurs

William Hill have again cut the price of Mark Hughes being the next Premier League manager to lose his job to Even money after a small but sustained gamble on Monday morning. He was 6/4 after Sunday’s matches had finished however, is now just Even money.

“It has been one way traffic for Hughes to be the first managerial casualty of this season and while the odds suggest he may be safe for this week at least, he needs a result next time out,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Elsewhere in the market, Jose Mourinho has been backed in from 80/1 to 50/1 to be the first to go and he is just 11/2 with William Hill to have left his job by the end of the season.

Dele Alli has signed a new deal at Spurs (the second in the space of a year) which could be an attempt to ward off any interested parties. It is 5/1 that Dele Alli has left Spurs by the end of the summer transfer

Manchester City continued their 100% start to the Premier League season and are just 10/1 to go unbeaten through the season and 500/1 to win every game this season.

“Manchester City have been red hot this season and not one team have got close to them yet. It is a short price that they manage to go unbeaten through the season,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
