Hot Betting For William Hill Lanzarote Hurdle

This weekend’s signature race at Kempton Park is the William Hill Lanzarote Hurdle, one of the feature highlights of the National Hunt calendar.

This year’s race has a combination of lightly raced horses, such as Ibis Du Rheu who has only had five starts and experienced campaigners such as Little Boy Boru who has had 23 career runs.

“It’s a tricky puzzle for bookmakers and punters alike, with a combination of up-and-coming horses against experienced campaigners. It should make for a very intriguing race,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

The worst result for William Hill is Ibis Du Rheu, who heads the market (currently 4-1 favourite), but in an open and competitive contest, the bookmakers are taking a good spread of business.

“The betting market on the race could be volatile and it would be no surprise to see different favourites throughout the day. There are four or five horses who could potentially start as favourite,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
