Hills Push Out Ranger Despite Chester Win

William Hill pushed out US Army Ranger in the Derby market to 5-1 from 4-1, despite winning the MBNA Chester Vase. Port Douglas almost nabbed the odds-on favourite and he is 25-1 from 66-1.

“US Army Ranger made rather hard work of things and he will need to perform better to win a Derby,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

William Hill shortened Midterm as a result – he’s now 7-2 from 4-1.
