Hills Hoping To Avoid Kimberella Kibosh

Kimberella is the 9-2 favourite with the sponsor for Saturday’s feature race, the William Hill Scottish Sprint Cup at Musselburgh. Hills cut the favourite from 5-1, as support continues to swell for the David Nicholls-trained runner.

"It's all about Kimberella for punters and he is comfortably the worst result in the book," said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. "Kimberella could really put the kibosh on the Cup for us."

Kimberella had been 16-1 for the William Hill Scottish Sprint Cup before his run at Epsom, where he was unlucky not to win the "Dash".

Last year's Musselburgh winner Red Baron has also attracted support and is now 8-1 from initial odds of 12-1 with Hills.

"Red Baron was a popular winning favourite last year and there are plenty of punters rowing in again," said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
