Hills Can't Choose July Cup Favourite

William Hill have four 11-2 co-favourites for this Saturday’s Darley July Cup; Limato, Magical Memory, Quiet Reflection and Twilight Son. Meanwhile, Profitable (currently 7-1) and Air Force Blue (10-1) are still in contention to start favourite on the day.

“The July Cup is very open and one of six horses could conceivably start favourite,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

“It’s just a shame that, once again, the fixture list has three prominent betting heats on the same day, with the July Cup competing against the John Smith’s Cup and Bunbury Cup for the punter pound. Racing needs to consider this clash in particular has a detrimental effect on Levy.”
