Hillary Odds Shorten Yet Again

POLITICAL PUNTERS are backing Hillary Clinton to win the US Election as though defeat were out of the question, and bookmakers William Hill have run for cover, slashing her odds yet again, from 1/5 (83% chance) to 1/7,(87%) the shortest odds at which she has yet been quoted.

Meanwhile Hills have lengthened their odds for Donald Trump from 10/3 (23%) to 9/2 (18%). And they have also seen interest in their offer of 10/1 that Trump may pull out of the race before polling day.

'As far as our political punters are concerned, Hillary is home and dry - the mega-bet of 550,000 euros (the biggest ever struck on either the UK General Election or US Presidential Election) we took for her at odds of 4/11 seemed to spark a rush to back her at almost any price-  but we won't be paying out just yet - there could still be a few surprises before polling day - even if Donald Trump doesn't seem to be quite clear about when that is!' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.'There has been some backing for Mr Trump to stand down before polling day.'

TRUMP TO QUIT THE RACE? 10/1 Yes; 1/33 No.
