Hiddlestone Odds On Favourite To Take Over From Craig As Bond

With Daniel Craig reportedly turning down the offer to reprise the role of James Bond, William Hill make Tom Hiddleston the odds on favourite to take over the reins.

Having been the subject of a huge gamble at the end of last week, Britain's biggest bookie makes Hiddleston just 1/4 to take over from Craig. Aiden Turner is the 7/2 second favourite with both Idris Elba and Tom Hardy 9/1.

"Since Spectre came out, there has been massive speculation as to whether Daniel Craig would return and if he didn't, who would take over," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "We have seen Damian Lewis, Idris Elba and Tom Hardy all occupy the top of the betting at various stages of the last 12 months but it would seem that Tom Hiddleston is in pole position at the right time."

Next James Bond after Daniel Craig: 1/4 Tom  Hiddleston; 7/2 Aiden Turner; 9/1 Idris Elba; 9/1 Tom Hardy; 20/1 Henry Cavill; 33/1 Damian Lewis; 33/1 Michael Fassbender; 50/1 BAR
