Health Sec Hunt 11/10 To Lose Job

Bookmakers William Hill are offering odds of 11/10 that Health Secretary, Jeremy Hunt,will cease to be in that role before the end of 2016 – but make him a 4/6 chance still to be in tthe job on January 1, 2017.

Mr Hunt is a 33/1 outsider to become the next electedTory leader with Hills who have cut their odds for Theresa May to succeed David Cameron from 7/1 joint fourth faourite to 6/1 clear third favourite behind 7/4 favourite Boris Johnson and 4/1 George Osborne.

'Mr Hunt is taking a firm line over the doctors' strike which could ultimately cost him what he has already called his 'last big job in politics'' said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
