BOOKMAKERS William Hill believe there is a 13/8 (38% likelihood) chance that Theresa May will cease to be Prime Minister during 2020 - but just a 4/1 (20% likelihood) of Jeremy Corbyn ceasing to be Labour leader during the year.

Boris Johnson is 11/10 (47% chance) to cease to be Foreign Secetary before the end of the year with Hills

And Hills also believe that there is a 5/4 (44%) chance of a General Election being held during the year, as well as a 6/4 (40%) likelihood that the country will enter into Recession in 2017.

It is a 4/6 (60%) chance that the Bank of England does NOT raise the Bank Rate during the year – but a 5/1 (16%) shot of it rising between January and June; 13/5 (27%)of it happening between July and December inclusive.

The political year in 2020 is 9/4 (30%) to see the French elect Marine Le Pen as President, and 2/1(33%) that Cressida Dick will succeed Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe as the Met Police Chief Commissioner.
