Glorious Goodwood - Day 2 William Hill Movers

In the opener at 2pm, William Hill’s biggest liability is on The Cashel Man who has proved to be popular all day, shortening from 13-2 to 5-1 favourite.

The Beringice Gordon Stakes has attracted punters seeing all the ‘1’s next to Qatari Hunter’s form – he’s now 13-2 from 15-2 with Hills.

The feature race of the week, the Qatar Sussex Stakes is a two horse book for William Hill, with little separating The Gurkha and Galileo Gold.

“If we can get both The Gurkha and Galileo Gold turned over, then it could be a good day for the bookies,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “Punters are one-nil up after the first day of Glorious Goodwood.”

In the Victoria Racing Club Molecomb Stakes at 3.45pm, Frankie Dettori’s mount Global Applause is a popular favourite and is 3-1 from 4-1.

The 4.20pm Markel Insurance Maiden Fillies’ Stakes, another favourite, Bouquet De Flores, is skewing the book, now 5-4 from 15-8.

In the final two races on the card, Dessertoflife is 8-1 from 10-1 in the 4.55pm, while Afjaan is 15-8 from 5-2 in the 5.25pm.
