Frankie Fantastic As Galileo Gold Triumphs

Frankie Dettori rode Galileo Gold to victory in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and William Hill offer a new price of 6-1 for the Hugo Palmer-trained horse to triumph in the Investec Derby at Epsom.

The well-backed favourite Air Force Blue failed to fire and finished well down the field.

“It’s not often that bookmakers thank our arch-nemesis Frankie Dettori but for once he has done us a massive favour,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
