Four Figure Bets For De Sousa

  • Seven Heavens is 25-1 from 33-1 for the 2000 Guineas with William Hill after winning a two-runner race at Goodwood.

“Seven Heavens is clearly such a talent that only one owner dared to pitch a horse against him!” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

  • Meanwhile, Quiet Reflection remains the best-backed horse (4-1 favourite) for Saturday’s Sprint Cup at Haydock. Limato has eased to 5-1 from 9-2.
  • In the Flat Jockeys’ Championship*, Silvestre De Sousa is the 8-11 favourite.

William Hill laid a £2000 bet for De Sousa to an online customer at Even-Money on Tuesday morning and a further £2000 bet at 10-11 just an hour later. Jim Crowley had started the day as the 5-6 favourite for the title.

“Silvestre De Sousa has got some momentum again and he’s edging ahead of Jim Crowley, but we’re expecting plenty more twists and turns to come,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
