England To U-Turn On Poppy Pooh-Pooh?

With the England poppy row rearing its head once again, William Hill are offering 9/4 that the FA make a u-turn on their stance and print poppies on the players' shirts for the home game against Scotland on November 11th. It is 1/3 they don't.

"The match is taking place on Armistice Day and given that every team in the Premier League has printed poppies on their shirts already, under the watchful eye of the FA, it seems a little counter intuitive to refuse to take a stand on behalf of the national side," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "Having said that, we are odds on that no poppy appears on the shirt on 11th November."

William Hill will offer any profits from the market to the Royal British Legion’s poppy appeal.
