England Elect Southgate, Odds On For Four Year Deal

Despite the draw against Spain, it looks incredibly likely that Gareth Southgate will get the England job soon and William Hill are no longer offering betting on whether the former centre half bags the role. Instead, they are now looking into how long he will last as gaffer.

Southgate is 1/6 to be in charge for the 2018 World Cup and 4/6 to be manager for the 2020 European Championships.

“Everything suggests that Southgate will be given a four year deal with a two year break clause, however, the odds suggest that he will see out the full length of the contract,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
