Douvan Rich Ricci's Banker

Douvan is unchanged at Even-Money with William Hill for the Queen Mother Champion Chase after an easy win at Punchestown in the Ryanair Novice Chase.

“Douvan appears to be Rich Ricci’s banker for the future,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke. “The Champion Chase appears the most likely target for the 2017 Cheltenham Festival.”

Douvan is 8-1 for the Gold Cup and both Willie Mullins and Rich Ricci refused to rule the race out for next year.
