Politics - US By Graham Sharpe

Donald To Trump Brit Bookies?

DONALD TRUMP, heading for Scotland as the EU Referndum result is announced, has been backed from an opening 150/1with William Hill, down to 11/4 second favourite to become the next US President.

'Mr Trump was regarded as a complete no-hoper when his candidacy was announced and we quoted him at 50/1 to become the Republican candidate, and 150/1 to become President' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe. 'However, rather like Jeremy Corbyn, who was a 200/1 outsider to e Labour leader, Mr Trump has already upset the odds once by virtually clinching the Republican nomination and is clear second favourite to win the race to the White House'

One William Hill client, John Mappin, from Cornwall, has staked £7000 in thirty bets on Mr Trump both winning the candidacy and the Presidency and is set to collect £80,000 as a result. (Contact details available on request)>
