Don Cossack 5/1 For 2017 Gold Cup

Don Cossack is 5-1 favourite with William Hill to win the 2017 Gold Cup after triumphing in this year’s blue riband event at Cheltenham.

William Hill also quote Don Cossack as 9-2 second-favourite for the 2016 King George VI Chase.

William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke said: “Don Cossack is yet another loser for bookmakers in what has to go down as the most punter friendly Cheltenham Festival of all time.”

Layers estimate that the industry has lost at least £60million.

“It’s the worst Cheltenham Festival for bookmakers ever.”
