DiCaprio Set To Trump Redmayne At BAFTAs

Eddie Redmayne is an 11/2 shot to win his second BAFTA award in two years but if he is to do so, he will have to defeat Leonardo DiCaprio, who is William Hill's red hot favourite to win the Best Actor award at 4/9. DiCaprio is nominated for his role in The Revenant which is 9/2 to win best film and 7/4 to win Best Director.

"DiCaprio has long been overlooked when it comes to award season but it looks as though his year may finally have come," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Brie Larsson heads the betting for Best Actress for her role in Room ahead of Saoirse Ronan at 2/1 and Cate Blanchett at 10/3.

Spotlight is the 8/13 favourite to win the BAFTA for Best Film.
