Cressida Dick Favourite To Be Next Met Police Top Cop

With Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe handed a year's extension to his contract as Met Police Commissioner, bookmakers William Hill have installed Cressida Dick, currently a Director General at the Foreign Office, as 4/1 favourite to succeed him when he steps down from the role.

William Hill makes Sara Thornton, first head of the National Police Chiefs Council, 6/1 joint second favourite, along with New York City Police Commissioner, William J Bratton.
