Clinton To Be Trump Card For Bookies?

DESPITE the ongoing criticism of his campaign style, and his own admission that he may occasionally say the wrong thing, Donald Trump remains the contender bookmakers William Hill fear in the US Presidential Election contest.

'William Hill will be some £200,000 worse off if the outspoken Republican candidate wins the Election' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Trump also remains more popular than Clinton in terms of the number of individual bets placed on each of the contenders. Of all the bets struck so far, Hills say 38% have been for Trump, 23% for Clinton.

'Overall, Mr Trump seems to be as popular with political punters as Brexit was in our last major political market, the EU Referendum' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
