Clinton Odds Shorten As Trump 10/1 To Quit

WITH HILLARY CLINTON now quoted as 1/5 (83% chance) favourite by William Hill to win the race to the White House, the shortest odds at which she has yet been quoted, Hills are also offering odds of 10/1 (9% chance) that Donald Trump will officially pull out of the race before voting day, November 8.

'A veritable deluge of betting support for Mrs Clinton, headed by a single bet of 550,000 euros from one female client, who stands to make a profit of 200,000 euros on the wager, has seen her odds collapse over the past week as significant support for Mr Trump has dried up' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Mrs Clinton was 11/10 (47%) favourite when betting began and at one point was as long as 6/4(40%); while Donald Trump was as long as 150/1 (less than 1% chance) and as short as 11/8 (42%). He is now out to 7/2 (22%).
