Champion Hurdle Shake Up Continues

Top Notch is now 20-1 from 33-1 with William Hill following victory on the card at Kelso. The Nicky Henderson-trained horse was initially 25-1 following his win in the Morebattle Hurdle but that was further docked after punter support.

“Top Notch is still an outsider but it’s hard to argue with his method of victory in a week that has seen the 1/3 favourite pulled out of the race,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

The New One has also been backed and William Hill have nipped the buds off the 10-1 and Nigel Twiston-Davies’ hurdler is now 9-1 in the Champion Hurdle market.
