By George - Osborne's 'Got No Fans'!

POLITICAL PUNTERS have deserted George Osborne, say bookmakers William Hill who haven't taken a single bet for the Chancellor to succeed David Cameron as Tory leader, or to be come the next Prime Minister since the Google tax row broke out. Hills have also cut their odds for Osborne to cease to be Chancellor during 2016 from 14/1 to 10/1.

'Although he is currently favourite to be next Tory leader and next Prime Minister his odds have been on the slide since the tax furore began and it is only because there is still some time before Mr Cameron is expected to stand down, that his odds haven't drifted even further.' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.'It certainly seems that at the moment, to paraphrase the infamous Wealdstone Raider football supporter, that Mr Osborne has 'got no fans''!

George Osborne has been lengthened from 6/4 to 7/4 by William Hill to be the next Tory leader, and they also offer 7/2 Boris Johnson; 8/1 Sajid Javid; 8/1 Theresa May; 20/1 Philip Hammond;  20/1 Priti Patel.
