Boynton Battles Back To Save Bookies

Boynton and War Decree had a real battle up the home straight of the July Course at Newmarket in the Superlative Stakes, with Boynton getting back up to score a real result for the bookies.

William Hill quote both Boynton and runner-up War Decree at 16-1 for next year’s 2000 Guineas.

“It looked like War Decree would win but Boynton rallying to victory has probably saved the industry more than a million pounds,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Earlier on the card Dabyah underlined her credentials in the Maiden Fillies’ stakes and is now 25-1 with William Hill for next year’s 1000 Guineas.
