Bowie And Radiohead To Slug It Out For Mercury Prize

The 2016 Mercury Music Prize looks like a straight race between David Bowie and Radiohead if the bookmakers are to be believed. William Hill make the pair 4/1 joint favourites to win ahead of 6/1 shots Anohni, Laura Mvula, Michael Kiwanuka and Skepta.

“Radiohead released the most anticipated album of the year while Bowie’s Blackstar celebrated the life and career of an incredible musician and it looks like it will be a fight between these two heavyweights as to who will win this prestigious prize,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
