Boris For The Boot?

BORIS JOHNSON has been backed from 6/4 to 11/10 with William Hill no longer to be Foreign Secretary by January 1, 2018. And Hills have lengthened their odds for him still to be in the role on that date from 1/2 to 4/6.

However, Boris is 5/1 favourite with Hills to succeed Theresa May as the next elected leader of the Conservatives.

'Boris certainly divides political opinion, and he has been outspoken as Foreign Secretary, which is presumably why he has been backed to be relieved of his duties sooner rather than later' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.'Yet he is still the heaviest backed contender to succeed Theresa May as Tory leader.'

**FOLLOWING STORIES that she has put herself forward for the role, Cressida Dick has been cut from 3/1 to 2/1 favourite to succeed Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe as Metropolitan Police Commissioner.

Hills also offer: 3/1 Mark Rowley; 7/1 Sara Thornton; 9/1 Sir Charles Montgomery. Others on request.
