Boris Boost Slashed Referndum 'Leave' Odds

William Hill have slashed their odds for the 'Leave' vote to win the EU Referendum from 5/2 to 2/1 after Boris Johnson entered the fray on the side of those wishing to quit.

And William Hill have also cut Boris' odds of becoming the next Tory leader from 4/1 to 5/2 joint favourite with George Osborne – and made him a 9/2 chance to become the next Prime Minister.

'Punters rushed to back the Leave option as soon as Boris confirmed his decision and with 88% of all bets already being for the 'Leave' campaign since the date of the Referendum was announced we're now expecting that figure to jump to over 90%' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.'Boris is the only politician whose intervention could have swung the odds in this manner'

NEXT TORY LEADER....5/2 Boris Johnson; 5/2 George Osborne; 8/1 S Javid; T May; 10/1 P Patel; 12/1 M Gove, Others on request.
