Bookies Now Offering Odds On WETTEST July After Hottest Day Of The Year

Despite the warm temperatures we have been enjoying over the last couple of days, the weather looks set to turn and William Hill are now offering 25/1 that this July is the wettest on record.

“We are still to have that much rain this month and have enjoyed some lovely warm temperatures but a few heavy showers during the second half of this week could see the 25/1 come in quite some way,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Despite the mercury getting close on Tuesday, it is 5/1 that a temperature of 100f is recorded in the UK in 2016 and 12/1 that the UK’s record temperature of 38.5c is broken this year.
