Bookies Bet On Which Classic TV Shows Will Return Next

As a wave of nostalgia sweeps the nation with the return of Cold Feet, Robot Wars and The Crystal Maze and specials of Goodnight Sweetheart, Porridge and Are You Being Served hitting the screens, William Hill are looking to the future to predict what might be next.

The Generation Game which was last on our screens in 2002 is just Even money to return before the end of next year while favourites The Fast Show and Vicar of Dibley are 2/1.

Other shows that have been priced up include Goodness Gracious Me at 3/1, Men Behaving Badly at 6/1 and Big Break and Only Fools and Horses at 8/1.

Outsiders include The Big Breakfast at 25/1 and The Bill at 20/1.

“After the success of some of the recent reboots and revisits could see another wave later this year or next and we think that The Generation Game, The Fast Show and The Vicar of Dibley are the most likely,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
