Black Hercules Cut Despite Fall

William Hill took the bold option to cut Black Hercules for the RSA Chase, despite the favourite falling in the Ten Up Novice Chase at Navan.

Explaining the decision, William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke said: “Black Hercules would have won if he hadn’t fallen at the last and up to that point he had impressed us. We are taking the view that despite the blunder, he has enhanced his claims for Cheltenham.”

Meanwhile, the winner Measureofmydreams is now 16-1 for the National Hunt Chase (from 33-1), 25-1 for the JLT (from 50-1) and 33-1 for the RSA (from 66-1)
