Big Name Players Set For Transfer Moves This Window

Football teams across Europe will be waiting with impatience for the opening of the January transfer window with William Hill predicting which of the big names will be on the move this winter.

One of the biggest names on the list is James Rodriguez, who has recently found his time on the pitch stifled. As such, the midfield maestro is 5/6 to leave the club. One of the sides linked with him is Manchester United, who themselves have potential outgoings, with Depay and Schneiderlin top of the bill. The former is 4/7 to leave whilst his teammate sits at 2/5.

Another big Premier League club perennially linked with big-name stars of late is Arsenal, who will be looking for recruits to bolster their faltering title bid. Their need for a striker has long been discussed, despite Alexis’ success in the position, and so they have been linked with Borussia Dortmund talisman Marco Reus, 11/2 to leave his side, and Julian Draxler, 2/1, who has made clear his desire to leave Wolfsburg. Marco Verratti  has become one of the world’s premier midfielders and is up at 10/3 to pack his bags.

“We saw a quite staggering summer transfer window with huge moves and lots of money spent and with some of the names linked with leaving their clubs this winter, we could have another,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
