Belardo Slashed For Queen Anne

Belardo is 5-1 second-favourite from 20-1 with William Hill for the Queen Anne, after landing the Lockinge at Newbury.

Initially, the Godolphin horse joined Tepin as market leader for the Queen Anne, but swift punters saw the 5-1 available for Tepin with Hills and took advantage, clearly not impressed by Belardo’s performance in the Lockinge.

“We were impressed by Belardo but it appears that punters feel Tepin can beat the best the British can offer in the Queen Anne,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
