Becher Backers Go With In-Form Trainers

Gordon Elliott and Colin Tizzard are both in great form and before the Becher Chase this weekend, two of their chasers are being backed with William Hill.

Gordon Elliott rattled off a six-timer at Navan on Sunday, including the Troytown Handicap Chase and Ucello Conti is 10-1 from 14-1 with William Hill since the five-day declarations for the Becher Chase. Aintree’s Saturday feature has also seen a Colin Tizzard horse, Viconte Du Noyer, well-backed from 14-1 to 12-1.

“It has paid to follow Gordon Elliott and Colin Tizzard so far this season and that is the betting strategy for Becher backers,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
