Australia: When will Fremantle win their first game?

From minor premiers in 2015 to dead-last after six rounds in 2016, Ross Lyon and the Fremantle Dockers are desperate for their first win this season.

Leading bookmaker William Hill has opened a market on when Fremantle’s first win of 2016 will be.

“The Dockers have suffered injuries to some key players in Aaron Sandilands, Michael Johnson and Brownlow Medallist Nat Fyfe but they still have a home ground advantage and host GWS, Richmond and Essendon in Perth in the next six weeks,” a William Hill spokesperson said.

“There has not been a win-less AFL/VFL season since Fitzroy in 1964 when they went 0-18. The purple haze are $34 to not record a win this season.”

Fremantle do have history on their side this weekend. The Dockers have beaten the Giants in all four games at Subiaco, with an average winning margin of a whopping 76-points.
