Australia: Broncos Buck Punters Panthers Pick

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have opened as equal favourites with the Seattle Seahawks to take out Super Bowl 51.

Recently crowned Super Bowl 50 champions, the Denver Broncos, are only rated a $13 shot due to the expected retirement of five-time MVP Peyton Manning.

“The Broncos bucked a huge Super Bowl trend of punters picking Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers to lift the Vince Lombardi trophy,” said William Hill spokesman Tim Ashworth.

“In fact, Denver only accounted for 12% of all William Hill’s head-to-head bets.

“The Broncos are $13 to go back-to-back, as we’re expecting the great Peyton Manning to call time on his career. He’s definitely earned a well-earned slice from the nearest Papa John’s.”

The Carolina Panthers are valued at $10, while the odds are against Jarryd Hayne and the 49ers who, at $81, are the second worst option behind Cleveland ($151) next season.
