Assange 7/4 Still In Embassy In 2020

BOOKMAKERS William Hill believe Julian Assange will not leave the Ecuadorean Embassy before 2020, or even later, and make that option their 7/4 favourite in a new betting market on when the controversial figure will finally depart from his adopted home -whether by choice, or forcibly.

Hills also offer 2/1 that he will leave THIS year; 4/1 that he comes out in 2017; 7/1 in 2018 and 7/1 2019.

'When he first entered the Embassy noone genuinely believed he would stay there beyond a few weeks or months, but the betting now is that he is in for the long haul' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
