Another Day, Another Odds Cut For Trump

THE TRUMP betting bandwagon is picking up speed, as bookmakers William Hill shortened his odds yet again for the EIGHTH time in a fortnight, this time from 5/2 (28%) to 2/1 (33%).

And Hillary Clinton, who was as short as 1/9 (90% chance) a fortnight ago is now quoted at 4/11 (73%) by Hills, who say they are, though, still taking some substantial bets for her as well.

'Trump certainly currently has the momentum, and from as long as an 11/2 (15%)chance just two weeks back he is now closing up on Hillary almost day by day. The odds are now mirroring the betting at the same stage for Brexit, and some political punters are clearly gambling that the recent trend of shock political results - the Conservatives winning the General Election with an overall majority; Jeremy Corbyn landing 200/1 odds in the Labour leader contest, and Brexit winning the Referendum - is going to continue' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.'Hillary is not friendless in the market and we've taken several four figure bets for her, but the Trump support is escalating at the moment - we will already be a third of a million pounds worse off if he wins and it looks like getting worse.'
