Allardyce Is Odds On For England Job For The First Time!

Sam Allardyce today became odds on for the first time to claim the role of England manager. William Hill make him 10/11 to get the job, quite some way ahead of Jurgen Klinsmann as the 7/2 second favourite and Eddie Howe at 10/1.

“Immediately after Hodgson announced he was stepping down, Gareth Southgate became the odds on favourite to become the next England manager however, not since the day after the Iceland game has anyone been odds on for the role,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “He is the leading candidate by some way.”
