You Bet Japan Set To Shock Scotland!

William Hill can report a significant run of bet for Japan to upset the odds for the second time this World Cup by beating Scotland on Wednesday night. Japan are currently offered at 11/2 and already they will cost Britain’s biggest bookmaker almost £50,000 should they beat the Scots, who are the 1/7 favourites. Japan are now 250/1 from 1000/1 to win the tournament.

“Japan have been the story of the World Cup and you can see why they are being well supported. By kick-off we could have Japan for a six figure sum,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

Meanwhile New Zealand have been trimmed from 6/5 to 11/10 after a William Hill online customer staked a whopping £10,000 on New Zealand lifting the Cup.

1/33 Australia, 10/1 Fiji, 33/1 Draw
