X Factor Betting Set To Spike As Semi Finals Take Centre Stage

This weekend sees the semi-final of the X Factor with Lauren the likeliest to miss out on the final. William Hill make her ODDS ON at 10/11 to be the next act eliminated as the show reaches its business end.

The semi-finals is traditionally the time where betting turnover starts to peak and with almost £1.25m already wagered already across the industry, William Hill are predicting that by the time the winner is announced next weekend, that figure could well have doubled.

“In years gone by, the semi finals and the week leading up to the final sees a huge spike in turnover as the competition reaches the business end,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. “By the time the winner is announced, over £2.5m could have been wagered across the industry on the show.”

Louisa Johnson is the 1/3 favourite to win the X Factor with Reggie n Bollie 11/2 second favourites.

X Factor Winner: 1/3 Louisa Johnson, 11/2 Reggie n Bollie, 8/1 Che Chesterman, 8/1 Lauren Murray

X Factor Elimination: 10/11 Lauren Murray, 13/8 Che Chesterman, 9/2 Reggie n Bollie, 16/1 Louisa Johnson
