William Hill Release New Aintree Markets

William Hill released their new markets on the Becher Chase and there are joint-favourites with Goonyella and Heathfield at 12-1.

Aintree’s exciting chase takes place on Saturday 5th December and Goonyella will be aiming to atone for last year’s disappointing effort where he unseated his rider at the first fence. Since then, Goonyella was a strong second in the Scottish Grand National. Heathfield shares favouritism and should the JP McManus-owned chaser get his favoured testing ground, he would appear to have a good chance.

“The Becher Chase is wide open and looks a really tricky puzzle to solve,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Meanwhile, La Vaticane heads the Grand Sefton betting with William Hill. The six year old mare has had two starts for David Pipe since being brought over from France and there could be more to come.
