Will Redknapp Or Allardyce Replace Poyet At Sunderland?

Gustavo Poyet is 1/4 with William Hill to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job and Britain’s biggest bookmaker are looking at who could be in charge at The Stadium of Light.

There is every chance that Gus Poyet (5/1) could still be in charge of Sunderland come the first day of next season. Sunderland produced a fantastic run of form towards the tail end of last season to pull themselves away from the drop zone ad another run like that could see Poyet hold onto his job.

Harry Redknapp (6/1) is currently out of work and would almost certainly be interested in a return to the Premier League.

There has been a great deal of speculation as to the future of Sam Allardyce (8/1) and after his short stint at Newcastle ended so ignominiously, he will undoubtedly want to prove himself in the North East. With his contract running out at West Ham, he could be tempted by a move up to Sunderland.

Steve McLaren’s (10/1) time in the North East at Middlesbrough lead him to the England job and with him currently performing minor miracles at Derby at the moment, he could move especially if the Rams fail to win promotion from the super competitive Championship this season.

Other managers in the running could be current Boro boss, Aitor Karanka (12/1), former Manchester United manager David Moyes (12/1), Roy Keane (14/1), Peter Reid (14/1) and Paul Lambert (14/1) are all potential runners in the market as well.

Next Premier League manager to leave: 1/4 Gus Poyet; 6/1 no manager to leave; 8/1 Nigel Pearson; 8/1 Sam Allardyce; 10/1 Manuel Pellegrini; 12/1 Roberto Martinez; 40/1 BAR
