Will Alli Cap A Fantastic Start To The Season?
With three players in the England squad yet to win a senior international cap, William Hill are offering 6/1 that the trio of Tom Heaton, Dele Alli and Danny Ings all win their first cap over the course of the upcoming European Qualifiers against Estonia and Lithuania.
“England have qualified and done so with ease so Roy Hodgson may be keen to experiment with a number of players and formations,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
Dele Alli has been included in the squad having started just three Premier League matches but despite his early call up is 2/5 to be left out of England’s Euro 2016 23. The odds suggest that he will pick up a cap this time around however, offered at 8/15 to feature against either Estonia or Lithuania.
“Alli has only started a handful of top level games but is already looking like some talent yet with the likes of Henderson, Cleverley and Wilshere all out with injury and potentially ahead of the young Spurs man in the pecking order, he has a long way to go before being called up for the big tournament in France in the summer,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
