Wenger Racing To Horse Ownership?

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted at potentially owning a racehorse and William Hill are 12/1 that he invests in one by the end of the year.

Wenger: “When we played at Man United, he (Alex Ferguson), came to meet me after the game. I said: ‘Come on, you don’t miss it?’ He says: ‘No.’ He had enough. He goes to every game. But he has horses. I have no horses.” (Speaking to Nick Callow in The Guardian on the 23rd July 2015)

“It is well known that Arsene Wenger is a fan of horses and like many football players and managers, he may be tempted in to ownership,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Wenger is 50/1 to part-own a racehorse with Sir Alex Ferguson by the end of the year.

“Wenger and Fergie have had their spats over the years, but they’ve built up a friendship and perhaps Sir Alex can sway Arsene in to the equine world,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.
