Waady Wins Passage to Take Charge

Waady was a well-backed 5/2 favourite and duly obliged by winning the Charge at Sandown on Saturday.

William Hill immediately trimmed the odds for John Gosden’s colt in their antepost sprint markets.

Waady is 12/1 from 20/1 for the Nunthorpe at York and he is 16/1 from 33/1 to follow up in next week’s July Cup.

“Despite being boxed in at one stage, Waady has powered through to score and looked a cut above his rivals, “ said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

“Punters could be tempted to follow Waady to the well again in his next race.”
