Vautour Victorious At Ascot

At Ascot, Vautour did enough to win his reappearance in the Stella Artois 1965 Chase – he’s unchanged as 9-4 favourite for the William Hill King George VI Chase and still 4-1 market leader for the Cheltenham Gold Cup with William Hill.

“It was harder work than expected for Vautour, but he won and there could be more to come in the King George from the Mullins’ Marauder,” said William Hill spokesman Jon Ivan-Duke.

Vautour is also quoted at 7-2 to win the Ryanair Chase and 3-1 to ‘Win Any Race At 2016 Cheltenham Festival’.

Irving wore down Top Notch over the hurdles at Haydock and the winner is unchanged at 10-1 for the williamhill.com Christmas Hurdle.

Meanwhile, at Gowran Park, Footpad put down a marker for the juvenile division and is now 20-1 co-favourite with William Hill for the Triumph.

American Tom was also victorious at the Irish venue and is 14-1 from 20-1 with William Hill for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, newly installed at 14-1 for the Neptune and 12-1 from 14-1 to ‘Win Any Race At 2016 Cheltenham Festival’.
